On May 21, 2021, at the meeting of the Qingdao Private Economy (SMEs) Development Leading Group, the municipal government’s private entrepreneurs’ economic consultants’ suggestions list were reviewed and approved. A more direct and accurate feeling of needs, expectations, and difficulties is conducive to government departments to keep abreast of the situation in a timely manner, and to serve enterprises faster and better. This is also the first time that Qingdao has specially appointed private entrepreneurs as economic consultants to the municipal government.

After the recommendation, preliminary review, comprehensive evaluation and other procedures of relevant departments and districts and cities (functional areas), the Qingdao Private Economic Bureau conducted an assessment of the private entrepreneurs to be appointed by the municipal government from June 4, 2021 to June 10, 2021. The consultant's 27 private entrepreneurs made public announcements. After review and publicity, Ge Yaolun, chairman of Hailir Pharmaceutical Group, was selected as the list of Qingdao private entrepreneur economic consultants.
