Government awarded Wang WeiJie's honesty and self-disclipine for the first time

On August 1, Zhang Xiao, Group Chief of Human Resources department, and Xu Hongtao, Assistant of the President, on behalf of the Group presented the award to Wang Weijie in Shandong Hailir Chemical Co.,Ltd. This is the first time since Hailir Group issued the “Purity and Self-discipline Commitment”.


It is recognized that in July a company in Jiangsu Province use a cash of 30,000 yuan to bribe the general manager-Wang Weijie in Shandong Hailier, hoping to gain benefits in equipment procurement. In the face of bribery, Wang Weijie upholds the requirement of honesty and self-discipline, refuses to accept money, and requires that any equipment purchase must be tendered through formal channels, and no fraud is allowed. The other party saw that the bribe was invalid, leaving the bribe money and turned away, hoping to fight for the opportunity in the final way. On July 26, Wang Weijie turned over 30 thousand yuan of bribes to the company. After the group's research decision, Wang Weijie's rejection of bribery was praised by the whole group and was given a cash reward of 50% of the total amount of bribes rejected (a total of RMB 15,000).


After the incident, the Group commended Wang Weijie’s model deeds through internal report. All Hailir people would follow the example of Wang Weijie for his spiritual realm of “loyalty, Character, Integrity and Positivenes”. Hailir people should learn his lofty sentiments of resisting corruption and promoting honesty,of the strict self-discipline.
